Pat Duffy has reportedly announced that he intends to step down as chairman of Aurivo. The Leitrim-based dairy farmer has been a director of the Aurivo board since 2002, and chairman for the last four years.
An election to appoint a successor and a vice-chairman is scheduled for Tuesday, November 17.
Aaron Forde, a native of Cavan, resigned last December after 16 years as the CEO of the co-op, formerly Connacht Gold. He served as a member of the board of Ornua, the Irish Dairy Board from 2004, during six years of which, until 2019 he chaired the board in succession to Vincent Buckley.
Aurivo reported a €446.8 million turnover in 2019.
