North-West TD Marc MacSharry is “absolutely stunned” that the UK has decided to pull out of the EU.

He claims, “It really puts their future as a nation in its current form in jeopardy.”

His father Ray says “the biggest issue will be the value of sterling and how the new border situation might evolve.”

Meanwhile, Fianna Fail Leader Michael Martin has been focusing on gay rights, saying the campaign for equality is unfinished “while citizens in the North are denied the same marriage rights as those in the Republic.”
