Road works will continue on the R284 at Sooey. Traffic control will be in operation with minimal delays expected.
The installation of a safety barrier will continue on the R296 at Carrownanty, Ballymote. Traffic control will be in place with minimal disruption expected.
Site Investigation works are programmed to continue from Monday the 17th August between Tubbercurry and Annagh Bridge on the R294. Traffic Management will be in place and minor delays are expected. Works are expected to last 1 week.
Footpath Repair works will continue on the N17 along Church Street, Tubbercurry, weather permitting. Traffic control will be in operation with significant delays expected.
Verge trimming will continue on the N59 at Owenbeg, Culleens area. A Stop/Go system will be in operation. Minor delays expected.
N59 in Ballysadare
Road works will be continuing on the N59 in Ballysadare (between the entrance to Millview Park and the Ballina side of the current 60 kph speed limit zone).
Associated traffic delays should be expected over the course of the contract duration. Sligo County Council and Gerald Love Contracts will endeavour to minimise the effects of the works where possible and regret any inconvenience which may be caused.
SLIGO CITY AREA:
A Road Opening Licence has been granted for works on Circular Road, just off Pearse Road. Some traffic disruption expected.
Footpath Repairs to take place on the Link Road between Benbulben Terrace & St. John’s Terrace.
SLIGO /STRANDHILL AREA:
Surface dressing will take place on various roads namely L277, L289, L281 and R287 and expected to last approximately 3 days (weather permitting). Some traffic disruption expected.
Wall set-back and road improvements will take place on the old R292 at The Bridge, Strandhill.
Gully cleaning will take place in various locations. Minimal traffic disruption expected.
Pothole repair works will continue in the Enniscrone area. Traffic control will be in operation. Minor delays expected.
Pothole repair works will continue in the Tubbercurry area. Traffic control will be in operation but no delays are expected.
